Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Facility Coordinator will form an integral part of the school community and be a key member of ISS’s service delivery team. The role will be based at either Aldinga or Angle Vale locations, working 9-5pm.

The role has 2 primary functions:

  • Support the Senior Facilities & Community Use Coordinator to coordinate the use of the school facilities by School, Council and Community users and manage bookings for shared council and community use spaces
  • Support the Senior Facilities & Community Use Coordinator to coordinate the planned and reactive services provided by the ISS on-site service delivery team and subcontractors to achieve the objectives and performance outcomes of the contracted services for the schools

Experienced candidates will be considered if they have the following skills:

  • Assist in the coordination of help desk services and act as conduit for all queries and requests relating to logging of service requests
  • Assist in the notification of faults and complaints from any of the School and Community Users relating to the services or the maintained assets
  • Assist in the coordination of subcontractor works including inductions, verifying clearances, licenses & accreditations (where possible), and completion of works and duration at Site
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Coordinator through use of the school use booking system and schedule
  • Support supervisors and caretakers with ordering, receipting and issuing of cleaning materials and equipment and maintain the stock control
  • Take a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment
  • Willingness to help out with ad hoc duties on site

Minimum Criteria:

  • Current driver’s license.
  • Working with Children Check & Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work unsupervised & strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service focus with the ability to communicate with internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Ability to understand KPI’s for facilities management contracts.
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in an operational office environment.
