Our team continues to grow, we are looking to bring on a new Senior Caretaker to join our team in Aldinga, employed on a Full-Time basis. Your working hours will be 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday, but may also include after-hours and weekend work, such as supporting out-of-hours events and being on call to respond to after-hours emergencies, where required.
The Position:
- Responsible for the delivery of hard and soft facility services, including programmed and reactive maintenance, security and access control, waste and pest services
- Manage subcontractors, maintenance works (planned and reactive), site operations and Community Use
- Oversee site access, security, keys, deliveries, and traffic/parking management
- Build strong client relationships and deliver responsive, high-quality customer service to the College leadership team
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and support asset and maintenance planning
- Lead and support staff, ensuring effective performance, communication, and safe work practices

Minimum Criteria:
- Ability to supply/source a current National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check
- Possess strong commercial acumen and understanding of the fiscal management of site operations
- Trade background (e.g. handyman, Trade Assistant or similar) with strong maintenance experience
- Proven experience managing a service delivery team, subcontractors and coordinating maintenance or site services
- Sound knowledge of WHS, Australian Standards, OH&S principles and building compliance requirements
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
