ISS Facility Services New Zealand is hiring!
We are looking for reliable and motivated people to join our team at Centre Place Shopping Centre in Hamilton.
We currently have three positions available:
- Full-Time – permanent position
- Part-Time – permanent position
- Casual – flexible hours as required

About the Role
As a Cleaner/Custodian, you will play an important role in keeping Centre Place clean, safe and welcoming for customers, retailers and the wider community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality cleaning services throughout the shopping centre and retail environment
- Maintaining floors and other areas to a high standard
- Cleaning with a purpose and taking pride in the presentation of the site
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Following health, safety and cleaning procedures
- Working as part of a supportive team to maintain a high standard of service
Please note: One of the positions involves working as a male custodian within the shopping centre and requires a male employee due to the nature of the role and the facilities involved.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is physically fit, energetic and comfortable with active work
- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Can communicate effectively in English
- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Has reliable transport to and from work
- Is available to work the required shifts, including weekends where applicable
- Has cleaning experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Has the right to work in New Zealand
- Can meet ISS and client requirements regarding background checks
