Join our People & Culture team based onsite at Brisbane Airport for this Full Time position.
You will work closely with operational leaders and employees across the business, providing practical HR advice and ensuring our people processes are applied consistently and fairly with a strong focus on employee relations and supporting leaders to effectively manage their people.
About the Role
As a People and Culture Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of People & Culture services across ISS operations at Brisbane Airport.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert HR and employee relations advice to leaders on performance management, conduct, attendance, employee relations matters, and the interpretation of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies, and legislation.
- Manage employee relations casework, including workplace investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary matters, absenteeism management, and employee meetings.
- Prepare and maintain employee relations documentation and records, ensuring all correspondence, case files, outcomes, and actions are accurate, confidential, and compliant.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, engagement initiatives, consultation forums, and employee communication processes.
- Monitor, analyse and report on people metrics, providing insights on absenteeism, turnover, performance, workforce trends, and retention opportunities.
- Collaborate with leaders and the broader People & Culture team to deliver HR initiatives, improve employee experience, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in employee relations and HR case management, including performance management, workplace investigations, conduct matters, and policy interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and HR best practice.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice to leaders.
- Highly developed communication, organisational, and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience analysing people data and HR metrics to identify trends and support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, combined with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
