The Opportunity
ISS Facility Services is seeking a committed and dedicated Office and Recruitment Administrator to join our busy team. This role will be an 8-month fixed term contract, based out of our Auckland office.
Supporting the P&C Team with recruitment and the wider New Zealand business, you will be responsible for helping with the day-to-day administrative duties and will play an important role in maintaining company high standards and the channels of communication.

The Duties
- Support recruitment activities, including preparing job descriptions and job advertisement, coordinating interviews, screening applications, implementing pre-employment assessments, preparing employment paperwork, and issuing employment offers.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, support vendor management activities, and assist with purchase order (PO) setup.
- Providing IT support across the business
- Prepare, format, print, file, and maintain business documents, including Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage mail and courier services, office supplies, kitchen supplies, waste collection, and the upkeep of office, kitchen, and meeting room facilities.
- Set up meeting rooms and ensure all office spaces are clean, organised, and well stocked.
- Welcome visitors, provide refreshments, and arrange catering for client and internal meetings.
- Manage communications, stakeholder engagement, meeting scheduling, and general office administration.
The Candidate
In order to excel in this role, you will be a proactive, "can-do" individual with a strong work ethic and highly developed attention to detail and will have 1-3 years reception or administration experience. Candidates from Customer Services backgrounds will also be considered.
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a receptionist, administration or customer service position
- Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload
- Creative thinking, research and networking skills
- Intermediate level IT skills including Laptop & Mobile phone setup and general troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- A high level of professionalism and use absolute discretion when working on highly confidential matters and/or meeting guests
- The ability to work well within a team and autonomously
- A great attitude - willing to learn across a number of areas
